Message	i've been taking each step very slowly and carefully, despite reading all the time about how fast people get this or that job done on the z. i smeared my finger on the excess along the edge and it made it seem like a lot more was used. one thing im worried about is the excess inside the valve covers. i have no idea what it looks like in there and the cam lobes come very close to the gasket surface edge. i can picture the lobes flapping against the rubbery substance and a piece rips off and clogs an oil hole. --.scubasteve.-- (Rebuild started: April 2004. estimated completion: sigh)
